Get the look for less: Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum looked cute and casual at the L.A premiere of Hoodwinked. Her outfit include Miu Miu heels and Paige Denim jeans. But, because not everyone has a supermodel budget here is how you can get a very similiar look for less.

Favourites: Spring/Summer Nail Polish

I have a pretty large collection of nail polishes, but I only call a few favourites. In the winter, I stick to dark reds, forest greens, greys, navys and nudes. In the summer I like anything bright, but because one of my favourites (China Glaze's Japanese Koi) is a neon, sometimes I like to switch to nude shades. Here are a few of my favourites that I've been wearing regularly. (Despite the not so springy weather here in Toronto!)

I've never used up a whole bottle of nail polish but this ones getting pretty close!I got a manicure and pedicure with this colour at a salon last summer and unfortunately the bottle they used was almost empty and wasn't for sale. It was hard to search for, but I fnally got my hands on it and have been wearing it non stop ever since!

China Glaze 'Japanese Koi'

Every girl loves tiffany blue, and with this nail polish you can wear the box colour on your nails. This shade is definitely eye catching and looks great paired with bronzed skin!

China Glaze 'For Audrey'

A great coral colour for summer. Revlon polishes do require a few coats for the colours to look opaque and streak free on your nails. This colour is gorgeous and a good alternative if you aren't daring enough to pull off the neon shades.

Revlon 'Make Mine Mango'

If bright colours aren't your thing, the best way to ensure that your polish always matches any outfit you wear while staying on trend, is nude polish. Revlons 'Nude Chic' is the perfect nude, not to brown and muddy but has the perfect amount of pink udertone. Trust me, it wont make you look like you have mannequin hands!

Canadian Fashion: Everyone needs to know about Lucian Matis.

On day 3 of LG Fashion week, I took a break from the tents and quickly ran in my pumps all the way to Bay St. (Or maybe took the street car..) It took me way too long to find The Design Exchange, where Lucian Matis held his Fall 2011 fashion show. When I finally asked some fancy looking men in sharp suits, I made it just in time. When I arrived I was introduced to Lucian, and I was already impressed he was just as charming as he seemed on Project Runway. I took my seat, where I had a view of Glen Baxter and spent the minutes before the show dreaming about working at Fashion Television. When the music came on and the first girl came down the runway I knew the whole collection would be spectacular! A dress done entirely in crystals? A fringe maxi dress? Crochet mixed with beading? Yes please! Lucian Matis sure knows how to make a Canadian Fall and Winter season glamorous! Here are a few photos from the show:
